(ENG)ALL COURSES are aimed at potential aviation professionals (would-be pilots, cadet pilots) and aviation professionals who whish to achieve, maintain or improve on operational Level 4 measured by the ICAO language proficiency standards.

The courses aim both to provide a context for the plain everyday English needed for communication between pilots and ATCs and to teach the terminology that aviation professionals need at work.The main focus is on the essential language needed to ensure safety in emergency or non-routine situations during flight operations.

 

(IT) TUTTI I CORSI sono espressamente rivolti a potenziali professionisti del mondo dell’aviazione (aspiranti piloti) e a professionisti del mondo dell’aviazione che desiderano raggiungere, mantenere o migliorare il Livello Operational 4 misurato dagli standard ICAO per la competenza linguistica (lingua Inglese).

I corsi hanno l’obiettivo sia di assicurare l’apprendimento della lingua Inglese non necessariamente legata al contesto operativo di volo, sia di fornire agli studenti la terminologia operativa necessaria a garantire la sicurezza nelle situazioni di emergenza o non di routine.

 

(ENG)ALL COURSES are suitable for TEA candidates and candidates for other English for Aviation certificates or applyants for enrolment to international Flight Schools.

(IT) TUTTI I CORSI sono designati per candidati agli esami TEA o candidati ad altri test di Inglese per l’Aviazione o per aspiranti piloti che devono superare Test di inglese per accedere a Scuole di Volo internazionali.

 

(ENG)ALL COURSES are structured so as to ensure Plain English learning as well as to cover all the main activities listed below students need to become efficient at dealing with both routine and non-routine situations during flight operations:

(IT) TUTTI I CORSI sono strutturati per garantire l’apprendimento della lingua inglese coprire tutte le principali attività qui di seguito illustrate l’obiettivo delle quali è portare gli studenti a raggiungere l’efficienza della comunicazione in situazioni di routine o di emergenza in volo:

 

 

• Master the main structures of the English language : a focus on grammar, verb tenses, phrasal verbs, prepositions

• Pronunciation : how to improve your pronunciation so as to reduce the influence of your mother-tongue language

• Vocabulary: a wide range of vocabulary will be provided throughout the course, encompassing everything from an everyday English word bank to technical terminology for aviation professionals

• Everyday English related activities: to help you improve your fluency and ability to interact

• Everyday English listening comprehension: activities are based on recordings related to flight operations

• Radiotelephony: radiotelephony recordings will be played which include a mixture of technical phraseology and everyday English

• Radiotelephony live: authentic live material will be played for the more advanced levels

• Clarification techniques: role play activities will be set up in order to practise clarification techniques essential to ensuring understanding in communications between air traffic controllers and pilots

• Discussions and picture descriptions: to help you improve your fluency and your ability to interact aiming at ensuring the achievement of operational level 4 (or above) when discussing aviation-related general topics or when describing the different situations showed in photos or visual material

 

 

Progress tests will be regualrly provided throughout the courses to monitor your improvement and to make the course as effective as possible.

Progress tests saranno regolarmente proposti durante tutta la durata dei corsi per monitorare il tuo miglioramento e rendere il corso più efficace possibile.

 

A certificate of attendance will be presented after the course.

Un certificato di frequenza sarà rilasciato a fine corso.

 

For candidates who wish to take the TEA tests all information about TEA available sessions will be provided.

Mock tests sessions will be organized on request.

Per i candidati agli esami TEA saranno rilasciate tutte le informazioni richieste riguardo alle sessioni d’esame in programma per l’anno in corso e per il 2012.

 

Indivdual tutoring for extra practice before the exam sessions is available on request.

Possibilità di richiedere assistenza individuale ed esercitazioni extra prima della sessione d’esame.
